I recently received an invitation to participate in the Paris Drone Show, a drone race bringing together 24 world-class FPV drone racing pilots, as part of yearly Paris Air Show.

 

I've always wanted to combine my passion for filmmaking and drone racing together and this event was the perfect opportunity for it!

Between heats, I took some time to capture the best moments of the air show and drone racing event in order to create an aftermovie of my own, as spec work.

Mostly shot on the Sony FX30 Cinema Line, I was able to mix some shots from my iPhone 16 Pro in ProRes LOG, for a better perspective on wide angles scenes. 

The aftermovie was very well received on social media, shared by the whole drone racing community and made an impact on the race organisers. They've even asked to use this project as the official promotional video for future race events.
